Board of Directors
Adeniyi Adenubi
Chairman
Niyi Adenubi is the Executive Director, Governance, Government and Subsidiary Relations. A Financier and an investor with about fifteen (15) years of experience in the Institutional banking, Investment management and consulting sectors. He holds a degree in Sociology from the University of Ibadan. He has certifications in Finance and Business Management from the Tanaka Business School. Niyi vast experience in the financial sector comes from working in Private equity, Venture Capital, and Financial Advisory. He has played Financial Advisory roles to numerous firms in Nigeria and in the United Kingdom, most notably with the Royal Bank of Scotland and ATOS Consulting. He is the Chairman of Anchoria Asset Management and also serves on the Boards of several companies including VFD MFB, Kairos Capital, Everdon Bureau de Change and Premium Green where he works on providing strategic direction for the needs of companies he is directly involved with to operate at full potential and efficiency. Niyi is also currently a Managing Partner and Cofounder of Paragon Partners. He is passionate about Corporate Governance and brings this to bear on all the boards that he serves on. Niyi is also a member of The Institute of Directors.
Azubike Emodi
Managing Director
Azubike Emodi is the Managing Director of Anchoria Asset Management Limited. He is a resourceful financial service specialist with experience in retail and commercial banking. Prior to joining Anchoria, he was the Managing Director of VFD Microfinance Bank. He worked with Zenith Bank before joining Maxxon Pro Service Inc. in Canada where he worked as an Investment Advisor/Financial Planner. Until his appointment at VFD Microfinance Bank, he was a Client Advisor (Personal and Commercial Banking) with the Royal Bank of Canada. He is a member of IFC (Investment Funds in Canada) and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria. He holds a B.Sc. in Banking and Finance, an MBA in Management, and an M.Sc. Banking and Finance all from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. Azubike is also a non-executive Director of VFD Group Plc and a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administrators.
Abayomi Awobokun
Non Executive Director
Abayomi Awobokun is a Non-Executive director at Anchoria Asset Management Limited. With over thirteen years’ experience in the Oil & gas industry. Abayomi has a great deal of financial acumen with expertise in Risk management, Corporate Governance, Entrepreneurship, Organization development & Human Resource, Divestments, Mergers & Acquisition management. He spent eight years at Oando PLC, moving positions from Head of Investor Relations, to COO and then CEO of Oando Marketing PLC, and finally, Divisional CEO (International Trading & Marketing Company). Abayomi holds a B.Sc. in Pure & Applied Mathematics and an MSc in International Business Management. He is a member of the Institute of Directors and the founder of “The September 20 Foundation” (TS20F). He was nominated for Young Global Leader (YGL)at the World Economic Forum in 2016 and the Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu (Tutu Fellow) in 2017. He is currently the CEO of Enyo Retail and Supply.
Mobolaji Adewumi
Non Executive Director
Mobolaji Adewumi is a Non-Executive Director at Anchoria Asset Management Limited. He is currently the Executive Director, Finance for VFD Group Plc. He was the Special Assistant to the MD of First Bank of Nigeria Limited. Prior to joining First Bank, he was the Special Adviser to the MD of ASO Savings and Loans PLC, the biggest mortgage Bank in Nigeria. He was previously the Head of Finance and Performance Management for the Africa Division of United Bank of Africa; where he was responsible for coordinating the Finance operation of the Bank in over 19 African countries (excluding Nigeria). He joined UBA after spending three years in the Audit and Risk Advisory Division of KPMG Nigeria. His work experience also includes six years’ service in the Nigerian Army. Mobolaji is a Co-Founder of PremiumGreen Group. PremiumGreen owns significant stake in entities such as VFD Group, Dynasty Real Estate and Germaine Automobile.
Douglas Enahoro
Non Executive Director
Douglas Enahoro is a Non-Executive Director at Anchoria Asset Management Limited. He is currently the head of the Group office and the Technical Assistant to the Group Managing Director, FBN Holdings. Prior to joining FBN Holdings, he was Senior Consultant, Business Advisory in Ernst & Young. He was previously the Principal Consultant, Business Advisory & Strategy Nextzon Business Services. He started his career in KPMG Professional services where he spent three (3) years. Douglas has over 14 years professional experience spanning business assurance, M&A, strategy, consulting, transaction advisory, investment banking and general management. He has attended several specialized courses in Corporate Finance including, M&A, Valuation & Modeling in Ivy League Institutions including Wharton Business School, Kellogg School of Management and the Stanford Graduate School of Business in addition to other specialized training programmes. Douglas is a graduate of Actuarial Science & Insurance from the University of Lagos.
Halima Buba
Non Executive Director
Halima Buba is the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Sun Trust Bank Limited. Prior to her appointment at SunTrust Bank, Halima was an Executive Director in the Taj Consortium, an organization of dynamic technocrats and financial advisory experts. She sits on the board of several reputable institutions, including those of the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) as a Non-Executive Director; and Anchoria Asset Management Company Limited - a leading provider of high-value investment products and services to Individual and Institutional investors. Hitherto, she had been on the board of Adamawa Homes and Savings between 2009 and 2014. Halima graduated from the University of Maiduguri, Borno State, Nigeria, where she obtained both her Bachelor of Science and subsequently Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees. She is also an Alumnus of Lagos Business School, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, and an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN). A consummate Banker with over 18 years of cognate experience and vast proficiency and skills in Credit Risk Management, Public Sector Business, Commercial and Retail banking, Halima commenced her banking career with All States Trust Bank serving in different departments before joining Zenith Bank Limited in 2002. In 2003 she joined Inland Bank PLC, Public sector Group Abuja and continued on to Oceanic Bank in 2005. In 2011, Halima was a constituent member of the senior integration team that midwifed the acquisition of Oceanic Bank by Ecobank in 2012. She rose to the position of Deputy General Manager (DGM) and resigned from Ecobank in 2016 to take on the challenge of testing her entrepreneurial prowess in the world of business. Halima is a team leader with extensive experience in the private and public sectors, and many of her previous and recent colleagues attest to her capabilities as an astute manager of people and resources. Halima has attended various training locally and Internationally spanning Credit and Risk Management, Customer Service, and Organisational Leadership. A champion of youth and women empowerment, Halima consistently supports causes and extends philanthropical gestures towards girl child education through various platforms and non-governmental organizations.
Kelvin Orogun
Non Executive Director
Kelvin Orogun is a Non-Executive Director at Anchoria Asset Management Limited. He is also the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Cashpot Limited. Cashpot Limited is a money remittance company with headquarters in London and offices in Lagos Nigeria. Prior to starting Cashpot, he was the Managing Director, Africa Market- Small world financial services Group Ltd from October 2006 to December 2010. He started his career in Universal Trust Bank. Kelvin is a graduate of University of Benin where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He also obtained an MBA from Cass Business School- City University London.
Olufunmilayo Ayanbadejo
Non Executive Director
Olufunmilayo Ayanbadejo is the CEO of Patrick Ayanski a leading fashion and textile company in Nigeria and Creative Director of, Ayanski Fabric UK. Olufunmilayo has served for over a decade as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Anchoria Investments & Securities Limited (Nigeria) and was appointed a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Anchoria Asset Management Limited (Nigeria) in 2021. She has over two decades of experience conducting business within Africa, the UK, and Middle East. She started her career as an Account Assistant with Henderson Croswaithe (Now part of Investec Group) a private stockbroking firm in London in 1998. She went on to work as SAP FI/CO Consultant with Logica121 Consulting UK from 1999 to 2000. Subsequently she worked at Glaxo Welcome and T Mobile UK and at Yell Reading, UK as a Lead Project QA Test Analyst. She was ERP Program Test Manager with GE Healthcare, UK until 2006. She was Founder and Creative Director at Milliner Warehouse, UK a leading millinery supplier in the UK between 2003 and 2010. Olufunmilayo mentors several female entrepreneurs of African and Caribbean heritage at Jesus House, UK. She also mentors at the Sandbox Project, Canada & Nigeria. Olufunmilayo holds a B.Sc. in Business Management from University of Hull, UK and an M.Sc. in IT Management from the Sheffield Hallam University, UK. She holds an ISEB Foundation and Practitioner Certificate in Software Testing and has acquired SAP FI/CO Certification from the UK.

Oluwatosin Adeyemi
Chief Operating Officer
Oluwatosin Adeyemi is a conscientious, finance professional with 10 years’ work experience. He is the Chief Operating Officer at Anchoria Asset Management. He has served in diverse capacities as Project Manager, Product Manager and Finance Manager. Prior to his appointment with AAM, Tosin was the Finance Manager at The Bridge Clinic. He also worked with Access Bank, Book Buzz & VFD Group. He specializes in creating informed strategies, managing relationships with stakeholders, and deploying solutions that drive an increase in business value growth. Tosin is a Chartered Accountant, and a member of the Child and Youth Finance International. He has a BSc in Accounting from Bowen University, Iwo.
Chigozie Okoye
Head, Human Resources
Chigozie Okoye is the Human Resources Business Partner at Anchoria Asset Management. She has over five experience in Human Resources. Prior to her appointment, Chigozie was the Human Resources Manager at VFD Bridge. She also served as Human Resource Associate VFD Group Plc and Kairos Capital. Her specialization includes Employee Relations, Learning and Development, organizational Development. Chigozie is an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD).
Adaeze Ejionye
Head, Wealth Management
Adaeze Ejionye is the Head, Wealth Advisor at Anchoria Asset Management. She has over 18 years of experience experience in Customer Service and Sales. Prior to her appointment, Adaeze was the Executive Director, Sales, Uk-Dion Investment Limited. She also served as Head, Business Development at Cowry Asset Management Limited. Her specialization includes Business development, Customer services and sales. Adaeze is a member of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria and a SEC Sponsored Individual. She holds a Certified Management Consultant, BSc. Government & Public Administration, Msc. Business Administration.
Sunshine Adesuwa Agho
Head, Strategy and Content
Sunshine Adesuwa Agho is the Head, Strategy and Content at Anchoria Asset Management. She has over five years’ experience in Relationship Management, Project Management and Business Analysis. Prior to her appointment, Sunshine was a Relationship Manager, at Keystone Bank Limited. She has served in diverse capacities such as Financial Analysis, Content creation and Product Development. She has also served as Relationship Manager at Union Bank of Nigeria, Plc. Her specialization includes Strategic Management, Business Analysis and Project Management. Sunshine is a member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, she holds a Bachelor’s degree from Babcock University, she is currently pursuing her MBA programme at Nexford University and a Professional Certification on Strategic Management from IIMB.
Benedict Emina
Head, Client experience & Fund Administration
Benedict Emina is the Head Client Experience & Fund Administrator at Anchoria Asset Management. He has over 9 years’ experience in Fund Administration & Client Experience. Prior to his appointment, Benedict was a Fund Administrator with Stanbic IBTC Asset Management. He has served in diverse capacities as reconciliation officer and investment management analyst. He has also served as a Business support Executive at Stanbic IBTC Pension Managers. His specialization includes Mutual Fund Administration, Customer Relation management and Business Strategy. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Lagos State Polytechnic.
Jethro John
Head, Fixed Income Trading
Jethro John is the Head, Fixed Income Trading at Anchoria Asset Management Limited. He has over 15 years’ experience spanning Asset management, Treasury management, Fixed income securities trading and Business development in financial institutions. He started his career with Diamond Bank Plc and served in diverse capacities, within the bank’s Treasury and Financial Institutions, which include fixed income trading, liquidity management and relationship management and business development. Prior to his appointment with Anchoria Asset Management Limited, he was the Head, Fixed Income Trading and Brokerage at Arbitrage and Leverage Limited. His specialization includes Securities trading, Treasury management, Financial market analysis, structuring of fixed income products, Investment management, Relationship management and business development. He holds an MSc. in Corporate Finance from the University of Aberdeen, United Kingdom and a BSc. In Economics from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.
Cynthia Okolo
Head, Marketing and Communications
Cynthia Okolo is the Head, Marketing & Communications at Anchoria Asset Management. She has six years’ experience in Brand management, Communications, and Digital marketing. Prior to her current appointment, Cynthia was the Brand, Digital and Communications officer at Greenwich Merchant Bank. She has served in diverse capacities as communications officer, Brand and Event management executive. She has also served as Digital marketing and Business development & Communications officer at First City Monument Bank and Olajide Oyewole LLP respectively. Her specialization includes Brand management, Digital marketing, Content strategy & creation, social media management, Website management & optimization, Merchandising & event management. Cynthia has a Bachelor’s degree in Mass communication from Houdegbe North American University.
Musa Shonde
Head, Compliance
Shonde Musa is the Head, Internal Control and Compliance Department at Anchoria Asset Management. He has over 10 years' experience in financial Institutions and Capital Market. Prior to his appointment, He has worked as Head Internal Audit, Control and Compliance in GTI Asset Management and Trust Limited. He has served in diverse capacities as Team Lead Audit Inspection, Leads Compliance and Internal Control. He has also served as Ag. Group Internal Audit, Control & Compliance at GTI Group. His specialization includes Internal Audit, Control and Compliance. Musa is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), Association of Accounting Technicians West Africa (AATWA) and Association of risk Management of Nigeria. He holds a B.Sc. Accounting, M.Sc. Management in Lagos State University.
Oreoluwa Oretunde
Head, Research
Oreoluwa Odetunde is the Head, Research at Anchoria Asset Management. She has over four years of experience in investment research and strategy. Prior to her appointment, Oreoluwa was a Research Analyst at Greenwich Merchant Bank, where she focused on the Financial Services Sector as well as global and domestic macroeconomic analysis. Oreoluwa is a CFA Level 2 candidate and holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Lagos.
